Yes. Should be possible (already running apps excluded IIRC).

All contributions (for KDE 2.0) are very welcome. krdb really needs more
features. One would be the enable/disable krdb's effect on an
app-per-app basis.
A shell script could be rewritten in C++ (if necessary at all).
