========================

The interval checking resets the mail window back to the start
of the text.

So when your reading mail and you're on screen 5 of a long mail
messageit's very annoying to suddenly have the window popped
back to the start again!!

PS
I tested this with the local var spool and a sound theme - even though
a window doesn't come up you get the close window sound happening.
Well I lie - the window pops up and down really quickly since it's local.
Why a window at all?
