I just downloaded the kde distribution from
ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/distribution/deb/slink/binary-i386/
and installed all the packages.

Typing kdvi produces the message:
kdvi: error in loading shared libraries: /usr/X11R6/lib/libkfile.so.2:
 undefined symbol:  __pure_virtual

The kdelibs2g and kdelibs2g-dev packages are loaded and
ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/libkfile* produces:

-rw-r--r--   1 root     root          576 Feb  9 03:51 /usr/X11R6/lib/libkfile.la
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           17 Apr 15 09:59 /usr/X11R6/lib/libkfile.so -> \
libkfile.so.2.0.0 lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           17 Apr 15 09:59 \
                /usr/X11R6/lib/libkfile.so.2 -> libkfile.so.2.0.0
-rw-r--r--   1 root     root       289760 Feb  9 03:51 \
/usr/X11R6/lib/libkfile.so.2.0.0

I am running a 2.2.5-ac3 kernel and glibc2.1 (Debian potato)
[libc6 2.1.1-.0.2]

Thanks for any assistance.
