Subject: Bug#1095: kde always writes to .xsession-errors on Debian 2.1

Package: kde
Version: 1.1 (Debian binaries built 1999-03-06)

When kde starts, I always get at least two lines in ~/.xsession-errors:
  KCharset: Wrong charset!
  Could not read '/tmp//kfm-cache-0/index.txt'

In addition, on a system with XF86_SVGA and a Matrox Mystique card, I get
QImage::color: Index 255 out of range

I would suggest that the ~/.xsession-errors file should be empty unless
something genuinely unusual has occurred.
