When loading a file, kmid sometimes goes into a CPU loop and has to be
restarted.  An example is StopInTheNameOfLove.kar supplied with the
packages.  I also got this with some of the .RMI files supplied with Windows
NT 4.0 in the \winnt\media directory.  Something like one file in four seems
to be affected.
