Hi,

I am using the RPM version of KDE 1.1

The new kdebase-1.1-5rh5x is fundamentally broken by a dependency on
libjpeg.so.6 (RedHat-5.2 uses libjpeg.so.62). I have verified that
important individual programs (like kdm) depend on libjpeg.so.6 and will
not run. 

Please note this is a FATAL bug since KDE 1.1 cannot be installed at
all.
