Subject: Bug#838: Meaningless `setup' in screensaver settings

Package: kcontrol
Version: The one with kdebase-1.1
Severity: wishlist

In kcmdisplay's screensaver mode, there is a "Setup" button for the
individual screen saver. However, some screensavers don't implement
setup and exit immediately when run with `-setup'. This has the
confusing effect of graying the Setup button momentarily and doing
nothing. One wonders if the setup routine crashed or something.

It would be nice if there were some mechanism whereby screensavers
without setups would have Setup grayed from the beginning.
