When I use kdesrc-build, a directory structure (starting at ~/kde) with certain
level of nesting is created. In this structure the individual KDE projects are
distributed. Within this structure it would be helpful not to have to navigate
from the configured projects directory (which is not necessarily the
kdesrc-build base folder). When I have one KDE project open and need another
one it is likely that it can be found near the original one.

On the left side of the Open dialog, there is the places panel where a fixed
directory could be added for users who have all projects in one folder. The use
case I described is not easily done with the current state of things.

Furthermore, adding a 'remember last location' feature would be consistent with
the behavior of the Open File dialog in KDevelop and other applications.
