            Bug ID: 397043
           Summary: SegFault from Python calls to Node::mergeDown()
           Product: krita
           Version: git master
          Platform: Compiled Sources
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Scripting
          Assignee: krita-bugs-null@kde.org
          Reporter: emmetoneill.pdx@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Calling the `mergeDown()` function from a Python script causes a reproducible
SegFault crash on Linux and Windows (haven't tested others, but likely).

To reproduce:
- Open a Krita document.
- Open "Tools > Scripts > Scripter"
- With a merge-valid layer selected, run
`Krita.instance().activeDocument().activeNode().mergeDown()`
