No response; changing status. If you have new information, please add a
comment.

This is most certainly bug 375913, caused by NVIDIA driver and/or kernel
updates. The NVIDIA driver does not handle updates while applications are
running; you must reboot the system after the update.

If you are not using NVIDIA drivers, please add the information requested in
comment #1.
