Hm, I can't reproduce this on Kubuntu 18.04b1 or Neon Dev.
I'm trying to recreate by:
- Activating "Split" in the Dolphin window
- Selecting "root" or some other non-user directory in one window, and my $HOME
dir in the other
- Drag-n-drop a folder or file
- For a file, I get a dialog saying the file could not be created
- For a folder, I get a red bar across the top of the destination that says the
folder could not be created.
Please explain your workflow in a bit more detail and I'll try some more. If
you can include a couple screenshots (or even a screencap video), it'll make it
easier to try reproducing - and fixing!
