A few use cases I can think of for the different levels of reset:
- You're a new user who's gotten over-excited about tweaking settings and you
want to return to a clean slate without doing a full reinstall and losing any
data
- You're troubleshooting someone's misbehaving machine and want to do the above
- You're using a VM for development and want to return it to factory settings
to test against the defaults that most KDE users will see
- You're selling or donating the device to someone else
