Mrs.,

   Akonadi is not allowing me to open the other components of it, like kmail.
What should I do? How can I solve this so that I can use the components of
akonadi or only developers can they use it completely? The error message is
below. 

Akonadi Console
Failed to connect to database: Can't connect to local MySQL server through
socket '/tmp/akonadi-root.33t4T0/mysql.socket' (2 "No such file or directory")
QMYSQL: Unable to connect
