Please extinguish "thumbbar".

Hi:

Space in editor view is limited. 

I'd like to permanently thumbbar, which I take as annoying. 

To detail better: I do not want to see this thumbbar anymore in no context,
under no condition.

Is there a reliable way to achieve this?
