            Bug ID: 358844
Summary: Add "fit" or "bounding box" resize option
           Product: digikam
           Version: 4.14.0
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Batch Queue Manager
          Assignee: digikam-devel@kde.org
          Reporter: bugs@londonlight.org

Resizing is a very frequently used feature, however digiKam's implementation
lacks any way to have portrait and landscape photos resized together so they
end up in a predictable size.
Please add an option to resize:
- Width
- Height
- Bounding box (sometimes called "fit")

The third option lets you specify dimensions within which the image must fit,
e.g. 1920x1080, regardless of the photo's orientation.

Reproducible: Always
