Bug ID: 349765
Summary: Instant messaging applet stuck in connecting state
Product: telepathy
Version: unspecified
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: contactlist-applet
Assignee: kde-telepathy-bugs@kde.org
Reporter: loic.yhuel@gmail.com
Sometimes, it seems the applets wants to connect while there is no network
connection (I have no idea why, perhaps a race condition).
The main resulting issue can be reproduced by clicking "Go online" without any
network connection : it enters "connecting" state forever, and there is no way
to cancel it (even the "Offline" item in the context menu does nothing).
As soon as a network connection is available, the "Offline" menu item works
again.
Reproducible: Always
