Vishesh, we've had this conversation before. I have even contact KDE sponsors
about this intrusion in the past. Listen, it's simple: make this search thing
-- whatever you want to call it -- able to be disabled. You and KDE do NOT know
what is best for everyone.

"Non-optional for now" seems to be a thinly veiled way of saying "I am superior
in knowing what people must have and will o it this way." KDE seems to be a
wonderful collection of software, but this fiasco makes it very Gnome-like. The
Gnome developers have already publicly stated that they do not think their
users need to make decisions. Why don't the Baloo/Akonadi developers do the
same and just settle this?

It is a BUG. Make these search tools OPTIONAL because we -- the USERS -- decide
what runs on our machines. If we wanted no choice, we'd just run Windows and be
done with it.
