Using Linux Mint. Downloaded from their repository. Have everything setup as
should be for reminders (enable reminders, added reminders, etc.). Using 'New
events'. Have tested a few days in advance to see if reminders pop up (one day
before event) anywhere. No luck. No popups, no notifications, nothing.
Absolutely nothing happens when an event comes close - not even on the actual
event day. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Personal calendar, New event - all day event - not checked 'blocks me for
other events' 
2. Reminder - one day before event - Add
3. Recurrence - doesn't matter what is selected.

Actual Results:  
Nothing happens a day before nor nothing happens on the actual event day. I
miss the event completely because of no notification. The Daemon IS running in
the background.

Expected Results:  
To get some notification somewhere.
