Look. I am a software engineer, ok. I know how these things work. You are
wrong.

The issue here has nothing to do with "searching for equalizer settings", or
"any other playback issue". The issue is that enabling the equalizer restarts
the song. 

Whatever your issues are with the equalizer and the Phonon backend, they can be
overcome by seeking to the desired location in the song after the equalizer is
enabled, if necessary. 

So, i repeat, to resolve this issue: "All Amarok needs is the ability to seek
to a desired position. And this is obviously a feature Amarok should always,
and i mean ALWAYS, have..."
