I can confirm that this is a bug in the intel driver. It is fixed in git (don't
know which released version).
I used this ppa in ubuntu
"https://launchpad.net/~oibaf/+archive/ubuntu/graphics-drivers" to upgrade the
intel driver to git and it solved every problem with ksnapshot+kwin (with
standard opengl effects).
