            Bug ID: 342368
           Summary: Smooth zoom is laggy
           Product: krita
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: usability
          Assignee: krita-bugs-null@kde.org
          Reporter: kwadraatnope@hotmail.com

normal zooming with shorcuts is fine, smoothzooming with click+drag is not

VERY slow
unusable,and I rely on it a lot

13:19:23 - Animtim_: ok
13:20:05 - Animtim_: Bollebib: and so what is laggy exactly?
13:20:07 - Bollebib: It's really unusable at this point, maybe I should go back
some checkouts to see what caused it
13:20:12 - Bollebib: zooming
13:20:40 - raghukamath has left the room (Quit: Ping timeout: 240 seconds).
13:20:56 - Animtim_: ha, ok, .. zooming using which method? mouse scroll? +/- ?
click+drag?
13:20:59 - matthias_2 [~matthias2@gw-to-666.outscale.net] entered the room.
13:21:06 - Bollebib: click drag,soomthzoom
13:21:32 - Animtim_: ok.. I always use +/- based shortcuts, so I may not have
noticed this
13:22:17 - Wolthera: confirmed
13:22:27 - Bollebib: Animtim_: that does work +/-
13:22:31 - Wolthera: space+ctrl is slow
13:22:39 - Wolthera: I only use +/-
13:22:48 - Wolthera: sorry
13:22:55 - Wolthera: I should've checked that
13:23:11 - Bollebib: so I'm not crazy =)
13:24:10 - Bollebib: should I report this or does someone know what's up with
it?
13:24:16 - Wolthera: uhm, well
13:24:21 - Bollebib: it only happened in 2.9....I think?
13:24:36 - Bollebib: no problem in master....I think
13:24:44 - Wolthera: if generally, neither me nor animtim nor boud knew about
it, it's proly not in the bugtracker
13:24:50 - Wolthera: make a bug report :)
13:25:42 - Wolthera: Do note that my git hash (#18ff99f) also contains it
13:25:54 - Wolthera: and that was before boud's big refactor pushes
13:26:03 - Wolthera: so the problem is not in those.
13:26:03 - Beast_ [~beast@p5081CC5F.dip0.t-ipconnect.de] entered the room.
13:26:33 - Wolthera: Bollebib, however, it might be a bug with mvc
13:26:40 - Wolthera: because this is the first time you used mvc.
13:26:57 - Bollebib: no, in master mvc it worked...I think
13:27:25 - Bollebib: yesterday I updated master and tested something,today I
switched to 2.9
