Bug ID: 342366
Summary: Crashes regularly when entering new user defined
lessons
Product: ktouch
Version: 2.3.0
Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: crash
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: sebastiangottfried@web.de
Reporter: fprumbau@gmail.com
I use the thai keyboard layout.
I set KDE to change keyboard layouts per window, so I do not have to switch
them constantly.
If I enter a new thai typing lesson, a dialog window pops up, which has room
for entering the description and the lesson text itself.
This dialogbox will always have the main (first) language. Maybe this is the
problem.
Then I type the description (german keyboard laylout); for the text I have to
switch to thai layout.
If I try to save the lesson, ktouch will then crash about 50% of the time.
Fortunately the lesson still got saved.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set KDE to change keyboard layout per window
2. Try to create a new user lesson
3. Enter description and text (changing the layout again)
Actual Results:
After the restart, the lesson got saved correctly (but it will always be saved
to your main language, if you did not change the layout after that).
Expected Results:
a) It should not crash.
b) The lesson entry dialog should adopt the keyboard layout of the main program
