This required an update to the trash spec, which has been done at the last
freedesktop summit (see trash spec v1.0).

The new solution doesn't require cooperation from all apps, the cache can
recover from apps not updating the cache. I implemented it in July, commit
591acfe8f5e281f416ee925e1ff160c0aac81163 in kde-runtime, branch
Applications/14.12.
