If you can reproduce it every time, please give us the following information:

launch the "kdebugdialog" application, and enable the following areas:
  - 9501 (kdevplatform shell)
  -  9503 (kdevplatform project)
then launch KDevelop from the console, and pipe all its output into a log file.
reproduce the crash and attach the logfile to bug report 331227 please.

additionally, if you could also reproduce this crash inside valgrind, it would
be also very interesting:

valgrind --smc-check=all-non-file --track-origin=yes kdevelop -s <your session>
...
