The "default panel" comes from a js script.  If you want to create the panel
multiple times you can add additional panel clones in here.

As for your idea of having a clone button, I think this isn't going to be used
enough to be worth investing the time developing and worth cluttering the GUI
with. Keeping two applet configs in sync would be a mess also; we'd have so
many edge cases where we want some things in sync, some not.

Thanks for the idea, but realistically I'm not going to have time to do this.
