Well. If I manually set in my .gtkrc "gtk-button-images" option to 0, then
gtk-config kcm has "Show icons in GTK buttons" unchecked as it is supposed to
be. Now if I check the said option in kcm and apply changes, then my .gtkrc
file is updated and "gtk-button-images" option is set to 1 as it is supposed to
be. But as I've said before kcm on reopening shows "Show icons in GTK buttons"
unchecked again.
