The absence of a disable button is seriously flawed thinking, the mind boggles
how on earth the decision was arrived at not to include one especially as Baloo
is really still in the beta phase. Good grief even in Windows you can easily
kill indexing by disabling the indexing service. 

I do appreciate that there are people who want semantic search but please do
appreciate that there are a sizeable amount of users who do not want to use it.
