Kevin, you are perfectly right!
However, if you read my comment 22 and then look at the screenshot in comment
27, you will see the button labeled "Settings", which you didn't fail to notice
previously. But right below it there is the button "Lock Screen"—the one I was
talking about. If you click it, the whole menu transforms, and you no longer
can click the "Settings" button to bring up the file browser, until you click
the "Configure Widgets" button, which will require you to authenticate.
