            Bug ID: 330619
Summary: networkmanager, no mac address , ipv6 fail ,
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: Network Management
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: lamarque@kde.org
          Reporter: philippe.roubach@free.fr
                CC: jgrulich@redhat.com

opensuse 13.1 x86_64 , kde 4.12.1
networkmanager 0.9.8.8
plamsoid-management 0.9.0.10
wpa_supplicant 2.0-43.1

in my pc i add a wifi adapter .
with networkmanager i create an ap with "personal wpa/wpa2" security
i connect this pc to the ap .

if ipv6 is activated with method "shared"
then it completly fails <=> no connection <=> wifi interface stays in the state
"non connected"

if ipv6 is not activated
then
connection is a success .
my smartphone can connect to the ap
with kde connect i cans send a file to the pc and monitor the smartphone
battery . that's all with android 4.2.2 .

but see the capture "internal ap connection"
- the green shield becomes a yelow shield with a bubble saying "WEP"
- the ap has no mac address assigned .
- the protocol used is "b/g" instead of "n"
- the throughput is not displayed
- in the networkmanager log i found this :
*****************************************************************************
-linux-b4lz NetworkManager[1697]: <info> (wlp1s9): supplicant interface state:
disconnected -> inactive
2014-01-31T14:51:41.230767+01:00
-linux-b4lz nm-dispatcher.action[1805]:
/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/privoxyd: line 12: /etc/init.d/privoxyd: No
such file or directory
2014-01-31T14:51:41.233410+01:00
linux-b4lz nm-dispatcher.action: Script
'/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/privoxyd' exited with error status 127.
2014-01-31T14:51:41.233958+01:00
linux-b4lz NetworkManager[1697]: <warn> Dispatcher script failed: Script
'/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/privoxyd' exited with error status 127.
*****************************************************************************

if i connect my pc to an external wifi ap compliant to "n" protocol
then
"b/g" is choosed and used
it seems that the 2 antennas are used because it displays throughput of 60 ,
100 , 210 Mbit/s
ipv6 activated with method "link local" does not lead to any pb
the shield stays green

note : the error message about privoxy occurs with all types of connection when
connecting and disconnecting

Reproducible: Always
