halo around windows when working with xrender

Well the thing about XRender was that it only crashes if you try to activate it
after you have tried to activate OpenGL; that seems to mess the internal state
of the nouveau driver. Nonetheless there may still be an issue with
XRender/nouveau since windows can show a white halo on activation of XRender
(perhaps to be reported upstreams as already stated).
