            Bug ID: 328264
Summary: Multimedia keys don't work when "Present Windows"
                    effect is active
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kwin
           Version: 4.11.3
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: effects-window-management
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-null@kde.org
          Reporter: kenneth@whitecape.org

My laptop's "Volume Up/Down" keys don't do anything when the "Present Windows"
effect is active. Neither do the brightness keys.

Sometimes when I first play music on headphones, I realize it's (far) too loud,
and quickly dive for the volume buttons, only to accidentally fling the mouse
in the corner, activating "Present Windows". Then my ears hurt for longer. :)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Activate the "Present Windows" function (by mouse in corner or other means)
2. Try pressing Volume Up/Down buttons.
Actual Results:
The volume doesn't change, and no mixer popup is displayed.

Expected Results:
The volume should change, and ideally the volume overlay would still show up
(though that's far less critical).

Apologies if this is the wrong component - I wasn't sure whether it was a KWin,
Plasma, or KHotKeys issue.
