Bug ID: 324322
Summary: Setting a color in the kcm when using color background
brings a blank dialog
Classification: Unclassified
Product: kscreensaver
Version: 4.10.5
Platform: Debian testing
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: locker-qml
Assignee: plasma-bugs@kde.org
Reporter: parejaobregon@gmail.com
When using graphic elements as lock screen, if I try to choose a color using
color type background, the dialog that pops up is blank, preventing the user to
choose any color.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose graphic elements as lock screen.
2. Select configure.
3. Click with right mouse button an select "Preferences"
4. Select "Color" as background type.
5. Click in the button to select the first or second color.
Actual Results:
A blank dialog pops up, preventing the user to choose any color.
Expected Results:
A color chooser dialog should pop up, allowing the user to select the desired
color.
I tried this in several different computer instalations, both with a clean
install (without previous kde configuration files) and with computers coming
from a previous kde version after an update (from 4.8.4 in Debian Testing). In
all cases the problem occurs.
Although the dialog is the same (or at least very similar) to the one used to
configure the normal desktop background (that is the background normally used,
not the one in the screenlocker), the problem does not happen there, and the
color picker window appears instead.
