Bug ID: 320563
Summary: krunner ignores my command selection from the dropdown
list
Classification: Unclassified
Product: krunner
Version: 4.10.2
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: plasma-bugs@kde.org
Reporter: kdebugs@plast.id.au
I have krunner set to Text Completion > Dropdown List & Automatic. If I begin
typing, then select an item from the text-completion dropdown list, the
selected item is not executed. Instead, the first item on the "suggestions"
list is executed. (See screenshot.)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Alt-F2 to open krunner.
2. Type "kde"
3. Select the down arrow to select something from the text-completion dropdown
list (e.g. kdesudo backintime-kde4), then press enter.
Actual Results:
Watch the first item on the "suggestions" list behind be executed.
Expected Results:
The text-ccompletion item should have been executed.
Alternatively, I can make the top item of the "suggestions" list be identical
to the selected command, by deleting a character then retyping it. Then, when I
press command, the command is executed as expected.
