            Bug ID: 320547
Summary: [Patch] MediaWiki Highlighting: Support for special
syntax within headers and template parameters
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kate
           Version: Git
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: syntax
          Assignee: kwrite-bugs-null@kde.org
          Reporter: adriyetichaves@gmail.com

My original plan was to add support for wiki links in headers, but I took the
chance to add support for every MediaWiki syntax item that is supported within
a header.

Then, I realized that doing the same for template parameters would be trivial,
so I did it as well.

Allowing templates within templates proved a bit tricky when using named
parameters, but after changing a bit how the template named parameters were
parsed, it became a piece of cake.

I took screenshots of a sample file, both before and after the changes, for
easy review:

Reproducible: Always
