Thanks for your timely reply, Jack

I just tried to decrypt the file with gpg using the konsole, it worked. I also
opened the decrypted file with KMyMoney and i had no problems, no data loss or
anything strange.

I probably miss something, 'cause everything else seems to work pretty good...
