            Bug ID: 315923
Summary: When taskbar is vertical, notifications should appear
                    at the bottom
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: plasma
           Version: 4.10.0
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: notifications
          Assignee: notmart@gmail.com
          Reporter: pflyos@gmail.com
                CC: plasma-bugs@kde.org

When the taskbar is placed on the side of the screen, the notification icon
appears on top of the systray causing the notifications to pop up quite high on
the screen.

I think it would be a good idea to place the notification icon (or the
notifications pop up zone) at the bottom of the screen when the taskbar is on
the side. Another (potentially more complex) solution would be to let the user
organize the position of the elements in the systray.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place the taskbar on the side, with the systray at the bottom
2. Launch any application causing notifications
3. The notification pops up near the lowest quarter of the screen, which does
not look good and can be a source of annoyance.
