            Bug ID: 315921
Summary: Dolphin should have an option to always show previews
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: dolphin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
               URL: http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/59/searchresultsj.png
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null@kde.org
          Reporter: augusto.fornitani@gmail.com

Dolphin/KDE should give an option to always show file previews. This would be
specifically benefical in case of nepomuk searching. As two examples, there's
the Nautilus option to always show thumbnails/previews, and Unity's Dash
results show those thumbnails for already used files.
The URL should make things clearer:

Thank you :)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Dolphin
2. Click the "Preview" button in toolbar.
3. Go to another folder.
Actual Results:
The new folder does not have thumbnails/previews

Expected Results:
The button should show thumbnails/previews for all folders and files.

If I remember correctly, there was sometime ago an option to allow thumbnails
for every file above some MB limit. As I'm in a Windows machine right now, I
can't check this info.
