Likely not a kwin bug, the provided pixmaps are probably junk.

there seems to be aan issue with shadow pixmaps at least for Gtk+, please have
a look at the attached image.

- does it also happen with the xrender compositing backend?
- what about QtCurve on Qt applications (kwrite etc.)
