            Bug ID: 306124
          Severity: normal
           Version: 4.9.0
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: plasma-bugs@kde.org
Summary: File watcher plasmoid has too large minimum size
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: wonko@wonkology.org
          Hardware: Gentoo Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: widget-filewatcher
           Product: plasma

Since 4.9.0, the plasmoid has a larger minimum size than before. I use several
of them to display short texts generated by scripts, showing stuff like current
CPU and fan speed, hard drive status, temperatures. But now they overlap
because they use more horizontal space, which is empty.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add file watcher plasmoid to the desktop
2. reduce horizontal size
Actual Results:
The horizontal size doesn't get less than about 180 pixels.

Expected Results:
Here's a screenshot of my desktop, showing some file watchers as I like them to
be:

I notice that the system monitor plasmoid also is a little wider now. Might be
a coincidence, just mentioning.
