I'm seeing symptoms of bug 249417, which has been closed as a duplicate of this
one.  Sometimes when I lock my screen, the entire desktop is visible, but not
able to be interacted with.  I don't think the system was under heavy load
(firefox, kopete, dolphin, and sublime-text, load average from top < 1).
