This bug still affects me. 

I'm running Kubuntu 12.04, with latest KDE 4.8.4 from Kubuntu PPA, and Chromium
18.0.1025.168 from Ubuntu repos. 

Don't know if it's important or not, I'm running Kubuntu on a Macbook Pro
(2009), with nVidia GeForce 9400M.

Doesn't matter how I close it (title bar button, menus, keyboard shortcut), but
every time I close Chromium window (with more than 1 tab), Plasma crashes and
restart, and drkonqui doesn't open (how do I get a backtrace?). 

This is really annoying, because Plasma restart cause kwin to change open
windows sizes.
