Hi Werner.
I'd like to apologize if I sounded too prickly. 
Many times users coming here have pretty much non existent knowledge of RDBMS
and we try to put their efforts in creating a database to a good start. 

Providing the explanation really gives now a use case that represents a valid
scenario and thus exposes a bug otherwise would not be given much attention at
first (I bet you've seen bad db schemas yourself).

Thank you for the report and keep them coming. :)
