Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1- select text tool from the add shape tool box, and drag a text on the page. A vector layer is created, with the text box higlighted. 2- double click on the text box to write inside. Actual Results: 3- the text box has disappeared. 4- but you can type your text, by guessing where the text box and the cursor should be. No fun. 5- If you want to select your text, by dragging the cursor along it, you can do it, but it's not highlighted. No fun. Expected Results: 1- select text tool from the add shape tool box, and drag a text on the page. A vector layer is created, with the text box higlighted AND ALREADY SELECTED. you should be already inside the text box. You want to type text, that's why you drag a text box in the page. 2- the cursor is flashing on and off, waiting for you to type. 3- when you select all or a part of the text, it's highlighted. Easier to understand what you are doing. 4- The great plus should be that the vector layer takes automatically the first words of the text block to name itself. Very good for the comic artist with full of text layer in a text file !
