My bad, I was not talking about dolphin but about the dolphin view part inside
konqueror. But I can reproduce the problem of the "double zoom" also with
dolphin.
I renamed now the dolphin* config files and still see the effect - however it
is not really skipping one size, it just looks like it does as it is the same
when I move the zoom slider inside dolphin from the smallest pixel value 16 to
the next possible value 22.
So it seems that just the animation from 16 to 22 pixels makes 3 steps and I
thought that there must be an intermediate size.
I did not measure it but I think the size 16 has now a smaller row height than
in KDE 4.6.5 and size 22 is higher.
(Also note that during the animation I see a mixture of the old rows and the
now animated new rows. That is: text is overlapping; looks broken).
Is there a ways to disable this animations only for the dolphin view part ?
I do not have the feeling that it is an improvement regarding to the previous
version.
It just makes using the view slower.
