Garth, I know it's the second time, and still people keep commenting and don't
follow my advice. Please, please help me helping you. Open a new bug detailing
your problem as much as you can, your HW might indeed help, and we can start
tracking the issue from there. To answer your question no, monitor power off
has always worked perfectly here. Now please, let's stop commenting on this bug
and let's focus on the issue(s).
