Yes. The topic of volume "balance" is a actually more complicated than one
would assume. The issues are (as described in the former comments) how to
handle "upper bound" and "lower bound", and also whether to store (internally
and for persisting/restoring) absolute or relative (or both) values and
possible issues with rounding for controls that do not use the range 0-100.
I think something like the "upper bound" handling like in Gnome can be done
easily.
