Huh, comment #68 and comment #69 are exactly right: in the official "Task
Manager" widget the ghost spaces are gone. In "Smooth Tasks" they remain a
problem.
(Same versions as in comment #68 for both widgets.)

But I'm confused, I thought this bug was widget-independent, in libtaskmanager
or someplace generic.
