Version:           1.2.1 (using KDE 4.7.2)

On a fresh install of Kubuntu 11.10 the notification icon appears to be working
as expected. However after a 'sudo apt-get dist-update,'notifications are no
longer received despite checking 'Use both popups and tray icons' in Muon
settings.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Fresh install, apply available updates. 

Actual Results:  
Notifications not working

Expected Results:  
Notification of available updates as designed

Basic Kubuntu 11.10 setup.
