Sorry, my bad. Please gunzip stest.synctex.gz and at the top of stest.synctex,
replace the path in the line starting with "Input1" with your path.

Also, when you call okular, add "src:" after "#", like so:
> okular file:<dir>/stest.pdf#src:<num><dir>/./stest.tex
