Summary: Cannot enter opening parenthesis "(" in google search
                    window (to use google calculator)
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: jcline@physics.mcgill.ca

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

If I try to enter the symbol "(" in google, which is useful when computing with
google calculator, it is treated as a special shortcut key even
though it is not listed as such when I configure shortcuts. Therefore I cannot
enter parenthesized expressions such as are often useful in google calculator.
I cannot find any konqueror documentation to explain why it would treat this as
a special key.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
try to enter ( in google search window

Actual Results:
instead of (, browser will add a completion from a list of popular choices
depending upon text that preceded (

Expected Results:
the symbol ( should appear in the search window

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10
